Sanelma Hihnala is presentinfg her latest works:
Two in one PINOT-chair. Pinot (pile in finnish) is designed for small appartments. It can be used as one chair and when having guests as two chairs. The lower one is made of birch and the cover one of 2mm aluminium sheet.
RISU-lamp. Risu (a stick or a branch in finnish) is inspired by natural forms of wood. The wooden parts are made from aspen. The shade is sliced thin and bended with water. When no treatment the light shines through.

Pinot on tuoli, joka vieraan saapuessa jakautuu kahdelle.
Alimmainen tuoli on koivua. Se saa ylleen 2mm ohuen alumiinisen
takin, joka ratkaisee pienen tilan tuoliongelman vieraiden saapuessa.
Pinot-tuolia pystyy käyttämään niin pinona yksin kuin erillään kaksin!
PINOT is a chair you can use alone in a pile or when a visitor arrives you can pass the other one to your friend. Materials are birch and 2mm aluminium sheet.
